Michael Fassbender performs two characters in this movie. Both are humanoid robots that serve colonization missions similar to this. The first, Walter, was assigned to the mission shown on this film. The different, David, was assigned to the crew of Prometheus (the precious movie within the franchise). I thought Michael Fassbender did a terrific job in this function which is made extra fascinating to watch when the film performs with the viewers by making it uncertain which humanoid robotic you are watching and when.
