Netflix’s AJ and the Queen follows Ruby Pink (RuPaul), a down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from membership to club with an unlikely sidekick: AJ (Izzy Gaspersz), a recently orphaned, powerful-talking 10 yr-outdated stowaway. Ruby’s message of love and acceptance will not only have an impact on her viewers but also on her relationship with AJ, with whom she is going to form a particular bond – although the road to that is not straightforward.
